With a modern aesthetic, this home boasts 3,800 air-conditioned square feet and 6,800 square feet of covered space. It features 4 bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms, luxury stain-grade cabinetry, large RAM windows and doors, and a unique split-face block with stucco on the exterior. The home is situated on a large lot with ample usable space underneath, elevated planter beds, an elevator, a bar, and a study, making it an excellent home for entertaining.

Project Details

THE ASK

The client purchased a beautiful, tree-filled lot overlooking a small creek in the backyard, seeking their forever home where they could build a family and grow into the space. As busy businessmen, they wanted a home that balanced their hectic lives while providing a welcoming environment for fun and entertainment.

THE PROCESS

Visualizing their concepts for the new home was a challenge, especially regarding the exterior finishes. To overcome this, we provided on-site samples, allowing the clients to clearly envision the finished product. The homeowners made unique requests like a first-floor crawl space that could function as a lanai, complete with a summer kitchen, bar, and ceiling fans. We also designed an open-concept layout featuring custom wood white oak veneer cabinetry that complements the white oak floors and smooth white walls and ceilings. Our skilled tradesmen turned the homeowners’ vision into reality, creating a stunning divider at the entry from the second-floor stairs.

THE RESULT

Despite challenges sourcing the exterior block and working with our skilled masons to achieve the desired aesthetic, we successfully integrated elevated planters into the stunning front entry. This project marked our first home in Timbergrove, Texas, and exemplified our ability to listen closely to our client’s wishlist and truly create something custom and to their liking. We delivered samples and ultimately finished products that everyone is proud of, resulting in a beautiful, functional home that the client can enjoy for years to come.
